Ingredients
- FOR BROWNIE LAYER
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup flour
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 4 eggs beaten
- 16 oz (1 1/2 cup) Hershey syrup
- FOR FROSTING LAYER
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 2-3 TBSP creme de menthe (or mint flavoring)
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- FOR GLAZE LAYER
- 6 oz (1 generous cup) chocolate chips
- 6 TBSP butter
Method
FOR BROWNIE LAYER
- Beat eggs (It is enough to use a fork).
- Beat sugar with butter until smooth.
- Add hershey syrup and vanilla
- Add flour
- Blend until smooth
- Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes in a greased 9X13 pan.
- Cool in pan
FOR FROSTING LAYER
- Mix all ingredients together
- Beat until light and fluffy.
- Spread over cooled cake.
FOR GLAZE LAYER
- Melt butter and chocolate chips together
- Cool
- Spread over frosting / mint layer
- Chill in refrigerator until serving
